Smiles and Flyby Partner on Moving Digital Ads Across Dubai

Smiles, the UAE rewards app operated by e& UAE, has partnered with Flyby to roll out Flyby's smart delivery box technology across its e-bike delivery fleet in Dubai. It is Smiles' first move into embedded fleet digital box technology.

Flyby's IoT-connected boxes carry digital screens that show advertising based on each e-bike's location, giving brands a hyperlocal digital out-of-home channel. The system also gives Smiles live fleet tracking and monitoring. The rollout starts in Dubai, with other emirates to follow.

Flyby CEO Cheyenne Kamran said the company aims to have thousands of boxes on the road within 24 months.
