Phantom Space Acquires Vector Launch Assets to Accelerate Daytona Rocket

Phantom Space Corporation has acquired key assets and intellectual property from Vector Launch Inc., including flight-proven design elements, engineering data and proprietary small-launch technologies. Phantom will integrate them into its Daytona launch vehicle to reduce development risk on the path to orbit.

Daytona is a mass-manufactured, two-stage rocket for dedicated small-satellite launches. Phantom has completed hot-fire tests of Daytona propulsion assemblies and planned integration, qualification and stage-level testing through 2026.

Phantom founder and CEO Jim Cantrell, who co-founded Vector, said the deal brings the technology back under founder leadership.
