Flyby Names Former Talabat CEO Tomaso Rodriguez Chairman Ahead of Series A

Flyby, the UAE adtech company that turns delivery fleets into a digital out-of-home network, has appointed Tomaso Rodriguez as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board. Rodriguez led Talabat for six years and took it through its December 2024 IPO on the Dubai Financial Market.

The appointment comes ahead of Flyby's targeted Series A, which will fund expansion to 10,000 smart delivery boxes by 2027, with a five-year roadmap to 50,000 boxes across the GCC and Europe. Flyby's clients include L'Oréal, Red Bull and Western Union, and it works with platforms including Talabat, Careem, noon and Deliveroo.

As Chairman, Rodriguez will lead investor and partner engagement.
